Explorer Plan – Store Implementation Guide​

Objective​

This guide provides the information you need to configure a store under the Explorer Plan.
The Explorer Plan shares the same setup requirements as the Starter Plan, with the addition of sales connector configuration.

To complete the full setup, you must follow:

  1. Starter Plan Store Configuration Guide (store information, entrances, filters, users, etc.)
  2. Sales Connector Integration Guide (recommended method for sending sales data)

1. Store Configuration (Same as Starter Plan)​

All store-related setup steps — such as store details, opening hours, floor plans, entrance identification, visit filters, and user management — follow exactly the same workflow as the Starter Plan.

Make sure you fully complete the Starter Guide before continuing with the Explorer-specific configuration.

2. Sales Data Integration (Explorer Requirement)​

Explorer Plan includes sales-based insights, therefore you must configure a sales data source.

The recommended and most robust option is integrating sales via Sales Connectors.

This guide explains:

  • API requirements
  • Supported formats
  • How to configure a connector in KSI
  • How to map each store with its external reference code

Make sure sales connectors are tested and validated before store activation.

3. Alternative Sales Integration Methods (Optional)​

If API-based connectors are not possible, KSI also supports alternative sales data inputs:

  • Email-based integration
  • FTP-based integration
  • Other custom ingestion flows

These alternatives require prior coordination with the KSI support team.
